ÖBB ASC base Werndorf
Non-residential building, new construction

The ASC base in Werndorf is used for the maintenance of the future high-performance Koralmbahn Graz – Klagenfurt line. The new location consists of the operations building with integrated rescue train personnel unit, the ASC maintenance hall with rescue train canopy, workshops and open-air storage. The certified operations building is being constructed as a free-standing building with three storeys above ground and will include both offices, sanitary facilities and break rooms, as well as rooms for the rescue train personnel. The ground floor will be made of reinforced concrete, while the two upper floors will be solid timber constructions.
